Bheel Community sit in to protest alleged murder of Dodo bheel islamkot

Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, on media reports has taken the notice of protest of Bheel community against murder of Dodo Bheel who was reportedly brutally tortured by the guards of mining company the victim later succumbed to injuries.
Chief Justice of Sindh High Court called report from District & Sessions Judge Tharparkar, DIG Police Mirpurkhas, and SSP Tharparkar and asked both police officers to appear in person on July 13.

Chief minister forms ministerial committee
Main while, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has issued orders for a transparent inquiry into the death of Dodo Bheel in Islamkot on the directives of Chairman PPP and has called for a report.
He directed to submit report in three day. The committee includes Imtiaz Sheikh, Sardar Shah and Taimur Talpur.
Chief Minister directed IG Sindh Police to direct DIG Hyderabad to conduct an inquiry. He said that the inquiry should be conducted in a transparent manner and a report should be submitted to me within a week.

After protests of the Bheel community and civil society police registered a case against the security in-charge Kashif, guards Qamar, Huzaifa Malik and an unidentified person who reportedly tortured the victim.
Dodo Bheel, one of the workers injured in the alleged violence by the company’s security guards at Thar Coal Block II, was referred to Islamkot Hospital after his condition deteriorated. According to the heirs, the young man has increased bladder and throat pain, was unable to walk, and his whole body was swollen.
On the call of Bheel community and civil society one day strike was also observed in Tharparkar district.
This attracted the attention of federal government. Later the chief justice Sindh High Court and Sindh chief minister also took notice of the incident,

The administration’s protest against the killing of the workers Jai’s heirs allege that the Thar Coal Block II administration tortured Dodo Bheel, Moro Bheel and Ghulam Qadir Kokar for 10 days on charges of theft, which resulted in Dodo Bheel’s death.
