Cipher Case: PTI chairman produced in hearing in Adiala Jail 

Rawalpindi, Dec 2, 2023: The anticipated hearing of the cipher case against the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and former Prime Minister, was adjourned without any proceedings at Rawalpindi Adiala Jail today.

Present at the hearing were PTI Chairman, along with Shah Mehmood Qureshi, both of whom witnessed the deferral of the proceedings by Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain until December 4.

Accompanying the PTI Chairman were his wife, sisters, and Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s family members. However, the court premises witnessed a restriction on media representatives and the general public, barring their entry into today’s proceedings.

The cipher case, which pertains to the former Prime Minister and Chairman of PTI, as well as the former Foreign Minister, has garnered attention after the official secret act special court, upon receiving the notification of the jail trial, decided to postpone the hearing.

The reasons for the adjournment remain undisclosed, creating an air of anticipation around the case. The legal proceedings are set to resume on December 4, shedding light on the developments in this high-profile cipher case.
