Burial controversy: Body of Pir removed from the shrine after 7 months

FAISALABAD Jan 08,2022- After a burial controversy The body of a man who died seven months ago was exhumed from the grave.

Pir Bahadur Shah passed away seven months ago and was buried in Garh Fateh Shah, in Faisalabad area and his younger son also built a shrine on the grave.

Police said that the two elder sons of the deceased wanted to bury father’s body in Okara and the brothers had a dispute over the issue, hence burial controversy rose.

According to police, the two elder brothers came with other armed men last night and took away the body of their father. The accused also allegedly abducted a custodian of the shrine.

Police have registered a case against 11 nominees and 25 unidentified persons, including his two half-brothers, on the complaint of the deceased’s youngest son.
