KARACHI Oct 20,2022- Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and Pakistan People’s Party had a breakthrough in the talks, as a meeting between the delegation of MQM Pakistan and People’s Party has been arranged.

There will be a detailed discussion on the concerns and demands of MQM on local government system in the meeting. Aamir Khan, Khawaja Izhar, Waseem Akhtar and others from MQM will be present in the meeting.

Sindh Local government minister Syed Nasir Shah and other leaders will participate on behalf of the Pakistan People’s Party.

Earlier, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM Pakistan) called an important meeting of the coordination committee on Thursday, about the ongoing political situation in the country.

A meeting was held between the central leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and the People’s Party, in which the implementation of the Local Government Draft, section 140A was discussed.

Sources say that the meeting discussed constituencies including the withdrawal of municipal bodies, while the points of the draft proposed by the MQM were also demanded to be included in the summary.
