KARACHI, Jan 09,2022 – The body of a teenage girl, who ran away from home after a quarrel with her sister and brothers in Malir area of ​​Karachi, was found in a drain of Pipri Filter Plant near Steel Town.

Police have registered a case against the accused who secretly gave the girl a mobile phone.

According to Akram Arain, SHO of Steel Town Police Station, a two-three-day-old body of a 17-year-old girl was found in a drain near Pipri Filter Plant in Steel Town on Sunday morning.

The body has been mutilated, but Ghous Mohammad, a resident of Achar Goth, Malir identified his 17-year-old daughter Sheena by the clothes he was wearing.

According to police, the girl got into a fight with her sister and brothers on January 4 at 3 pm and left the house.

The girl’s father Ghous Mohammad had lodged an FIR at Steel Town police station on January 4, in which the he had stated all these incidents in the FIR registered under sections 365B and 34 PPC, i.e Kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel for marriage etc and  acts done by several persons In furtherance of common intention.

According to Ghous Mohammad, when Sheena was not found till evening, the family searched her belongings in the house and a mobile phone was found from her. Messages were also sent from one mobile phone to another.

According to the police, it was suspected that the girl Sheena was abducted by an accused through tricks.

According to the police, there was no sign or injury mark on the body but the cause of death will be revealed after the postmortem.

According to the police, the search for her friend has also started with the help of the said mobile phone SIMs.

According to Edhi Foundation spokesperson, the girl’s body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
