Imran Khan met Bill Gates,

ISLAMABAD, Feb 17,2022- Prime Minister Imran Khan met Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, who arrived in the federal capital Islamabad on his first visit to Pakistan.

Imran Khan and Bill Gates discussed polio eradication and other important issues.

Head of NCOC Asad Omar and Special Assistant Dr. Faisal met Bill Gates. Bill Gates accompanied the delegation to attend the meeting of NCOC. The implementation of NCOC’s vaccination campaign in Pakistan was appreciated.

Earlier, Bill Gates visited Pakistan Polio Program in Chak Shehzad.

Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant for Health, was also present during Bill Gates’ visit.

Sources said that Bill Gates was briefed on the Pakistan Polio Campaign Program and the progress and challenges related to polio in Pakistan.

Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant for Health, was also present during Bill Gates’ visit.

A meeting was held this morning between Senator Dr. Sania Nishtar, SAPM and Microsoft co-founder, and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates has been conferred Hilal-e-Pakistan, the second highest civilian honour in the country for his efforts to help eradicate polio in the country.
