A bid to marry a 14-year-old girl to a 55-year-old man was foiled in Uch Sharif area of Bahawalpur.
According to reports, the police arrested the parents of the bride, the groom and the witnesses of the marriage and several marriage party participants.
The bride said that her father had taken a loan from the groom, the groom asked for my relationship while pressuring him to repay the loan.
