Punjab Interior Advisor Umar Sarfraz Cheema has said that according to the preliminary forensic report of the attack on Imran Khan, there were at least 2 attackers.

Speaking to the media along with PTI leader Farrukh Habib at Zaman Park Lahore, Umar Sarfraz Cheema said that the preliminary forensic report of the attack was presented in the meeting chaired by Imran Khan.

He said that according to the initial forensic report, there were at least two attackers, the final forensic report will determine from which weapon was fired.

Adviser Interior Punjab further said that what the League leaders did in Hafizabad is in front of everyone, Governor Rule is just a threat.

He said that IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar has been surrendered by the Punjab government and names have also been sent for the appointment of new IG Punjab.
Weapons and bullet shells used in the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan have been recovered, the material collected from the attack site is being sent for forensics.

A meeting of the central leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaaf was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Imran Khan, in which Punjab Interior Advisor Umar Sarfraz Cheema informed about the investigation so far into the attack on the real Azadi March.
