Asif Zardari backs opposition no-confidence motion

ISLAMABAD, Feb 12, 2022- Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), telephoned Asif Ali Zardari and the two leaders discussed the political situation.

On this occasion, former President Asif Ali Zardari has said that PPP is with the opposition on the issue of no-confidence.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman sais that he will soon contact the allies of the government.

Yesterday the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had announced to table a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.

Talking to media after the meeting in Lahore, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he would contact the allies of the government for a no-confidence motion.

PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that numbers are enough to bring a no-confidence motion, number game is not a problem, we just have decide whom to take on board and whom to not.

He also said that first the no-confidence motion would be against the Speaker or against the Prime Minister, the decision would be taken by the leadership and no date would be fixed in any meeting for bringing no-confidence motion.
