Zardari will not attend Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary rally
ISLAMABAD Dec 26,2021- Former President Asif Ali Zardari reached the federal capital Islamabad.
According to sources, Asif Ali Zardari will hold meetings with various political figures in Islamabad.
Sources said that , the former president will also discuss the political situation in the country and strategies for possible no-confidence motions against the Speaker of the National Assembly and the chairman Senate.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had said that Asif Ali Zardari would not attend Benazir Bhutto’s anniversary rally tomorrow.
He had said that Asif Ali Zardari was not feeling well, therefore he would not attend the meeting of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh tomorrow.
The Sindh Chief Minister also said that Asif Ali Zardari has spoken of overthrowing the government with the help and strength of the people.
PPP Central Committee meeting postponed
Earlier, it was reported that tomorrow’s meeting of the PPP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) was also postponed.
The adjourned meeting of the PPP CEC will be held in the first week of January.
