Dr. Amjad Saqib, Pakistan’s social personality and the country’s largest microfinance program without interest – Akhwat, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
He is named for his efforts to eradicate poverty and to serve humanity.
The Nobel Peace Prize 2022 has selected 343 candidates from around the world, including 251 individuals and 92 institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amjad said that his service deserves many more than such awards and he performs all these services only for the sake of Allah.
He said that no one could nominate himself for the Nobel Prize while the whole process was not lobbying in the polls.
He said that one country might have suggested his name because my services to humanity are known all over the world, but I am unaware of such a development. (Monitoring Desk)
