75 Sindh University students booked on sedition charges

JAMSHORO, Apr 2,2023- The police filed a case of terrorism and sedition against 75 students after raiding the boys’ hostels of Sindh University.

Mor Shah, Hasnain Junejo, Ali Raza Brohi, Saqlain Sindhi, Jabar Buzdar, Bahram Panhwar and 65 unknown accused are nominated in the FIR.

Students leaders claimed that 20 students have been arrested.

It has been stated in the FIR that the students who came out of the hostel shouted slogans spreading hatred against the country, the protesters pelted stones and interfered police in performing the duty.

The police claimed that two police personnel were injured in stone pelting and the windows of a police vehicle were also broken.

It has been said in the FIR that the police reached the Sindh university on the request of the university administration to provide security
