40 buses of Karachi Green Line project arrives Pakistan
First day of Green Line Bus Service
KARACHI Sep 19,2021- A ship carrying buses for Karachi Green Line project arrived in Pakistan.
According to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) officials, the Chinese ship ‘Fan Shin’ carrying 40 buses has entered Pakistani waters.
The second batch of 40 more buses of Karachi Green Line Bus Project will reach Pakistan in the first week of October.
The Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Minister Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi and others will attend the ceremony to be held at Karachi Port today.
Karachi to get 250 govt buses: Owais Qadir Shah
In the first phase, green line buses will ply from Surjani Town to Numaish Chowrangi.
Green Line buses will have reserved seats for women and people with disabilities.
80 buses have been allocated for the rehabilitation of the first phase of the Green Line project.
