4 police official injured in car blast at Islamabad

A car blast reported in I -10 area of Islamabad, as a result of which four police personnel were injured.

According to the police, the injured personnel have been shifted to PIMS Hospital and a heavy contingent has surrounded the area.

According to the sources, the police stopped the taxi which exploded while searching it.

The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide, after which the police also reached the blast site.

The nature of the blast and the damage caused were not immediately assessed.
