2nd day of Lockdown in Karachi: Police missing, No SOPs observed

KARACHI Aug 1,2021- On the second day of lockdown in Karachi police personnel were missing, though the check posts are intact.

Experts said that this situation is created after federal minister vehemently opposed the Sindh government’s decision of lockdown.

On the second day of lockdown in Karachi, public transport remained off road in the city while corona SOPs are not being implemented by the citizens.

People are roam the streets without masks and social distance, while bakeries, grocery and food shops are open.

It may be noted that the rate of outbreaks of Corona virus cases in Karachi has not decreased as  the rate of positive cases of Corona virus has reached 23.79% in the last 24 hours.

According to the spokesman of the health department, out of the 11,65 people tested in Karachi in the last 24 hours, the corona test of 2,632 people came out positive.

On the other hand, 30 people were killed by Corona virus during 24 hours across Sindh.

Pakistan rises to No 31 on Corona patients list

The fourth wave of Corona virus in Pakistan started to push in social distance, ignoring mask and violations of SOPs, Corona positive case rate increased to about 9%.

Pakistan has risen to number 31 on the Corona patients list, where once again the Corona virus casualties are on the rise.

According to National Command and Operation Center (NOCC) data, there have been another 5,266 cases of Corona virus in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. A further 495 patients recovered, while the positive case rate increased to 8.82%.
