ISLAMABAD, March 29,2022- Voting on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan will take place within seven days after a no-confidence motion is tabled in the National Assembly.

The National Assembly session has been adjourned till Thursday, March 31. Voting may also take place on March 31.

According to the rules, voting on a no-confidence motion cannot take place before three days, but voting must take place within a maximum of seven days.

It is to be noted that the government allies and deviant members of PTI did not participate in the National Assembly session yesterday.

Zardari says Shehbaz Sharif will be prime minister

Yesterday, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has announced that we will soon make Shehbaz Sharif prime minister.

Opposition leaders held a joint press conference in the federal capital Islamabad, at which the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) announced its support for the opposition in a no-confidence motion against the government.

Asif Ali Zardari said that nowadays there is a season of no-confidence.

Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not be alone but also President Arif Alvi.

Addressing the PDM meeting, Nayyar Bukhari said that Buzdar was not alone, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would also resign from his post.

He said that governors of Sindh and Punjab would also be removed from their posts.

Addressing the meeting, Awami National Party leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would face defeat in the no-confidence vote.
