Under new media law workers can sue for non-payment of salaries, says Fawad

ISLAMABAD (May 31, 2021): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the new media law benefits media workers who will be able to go to court against their institutions if they do not receive their salaries.

In a tweet on Monday, he said that the PPP and the Noon League had opposed the amendment before and would continue to do so because their interests were not with the workers but with Seth.
