Tosha Khana: 13 Presidents, Prime Ministers received 3039 gifts

ISLAMABAD, Nov 20,2022 – 13 Presidents and Prime Ministers of Pakistan have so far received 3039 gifts from Toshakhona with a total value of 16 crore rupees.
The highest number of gifts were taken by former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, he took 1,126 gifts with him while leaving Pakistan,General Zia took 122 gifts worth 1.6 million rupees from the Tosha Khana.
General Ayub Khan was the only president and Balkh Sher Mazari was the only Prime Minister who deposited all the gifts in the Tosha Khana and did not take any of the gifts home.

According to the details of the rulers who received gifts from Toshakha, so far thirteen presidents and prime ministers of the country have received 3,490 gifts from Toshakha.
Sources said, Asif Zardari, as the president, deposited 9.3 million for two BMWs and two Toyota Jeeps in Toshakhana, which is only 15% of the original value. These valuable vehicles were given by Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi.
