Teenage girl raped and killed in Karachi

A teenage girl was killed after being raped in Safora area of Karachi and  the police have arrested the accused.

The accused identified as Irfan is an acquaintance of the victim’s father Rahim.

According to the police, an accused named Irfan has been arrested for the rape and murder of 15-year-old Zainab.

SSP East Sardar Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that Zainab was alone at home, while her parents had gone to work.

Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that the accused Irfan used to visit the house near the weather station in Karachi for some days. Today he found Zainab alone and raped her and then strangled her to death.

SSP East Sardar Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that the body of the deceased has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem and medico-legal examination. According to the officials, a case will be registered after the medico-legal report, the police are gathering more information and evidence.
