SHC pronounces verdict in Lanwari Sharif Dargah bloodbath case

The Sindh High Court pronounced its verdict after 23 years on the appeal regarding the 39-year-old bloodbath in Lanwari Sharif Dargah. Justice Umar Siyal while announcing the verdict apologized for providing justice late.

39 years ago, seven people were killed and three injured due to a conflict in Lanwari Sharif Dargah.

The Sindh High Court has declared all the accused persons in the case. There were a total of 32 accused named in the case.

11 accused named in the case died during the court proceedings and two accused died in jail.

Justice Umar Siyal addressed the people who came to the case and said that we apologize for the delay in justice and advised not to spread this poison in the generations.
