KAARCHI Jan 05,2022- The Sindh High Court issued a stay order on the petition of MQM against 21,000 new recruitments by the provincial government.

The court stayed the recruitment of Sindh government till the next hearing.

On hearing the petition filed in the Sindh High Court, MQM lawyer Tariq Mansoor Advocate pleaded that the recruitment process from Sukkur IBA should be stopped.

The petitioners have challenged the test procedure from Sukkur IBA. According to the petitioners, recruitment is being done in more than 38 departments of the Sindh government. There are irregularities in the recruitment procedure which would deprive the youth of Karachi from jobs.

The petition said that notifications were issued on January 3, 2020 and February 6, 2020, and the process for the posts of grade 5 to 15 was conducted out in covertly.

The petition further states that Sukkur IBA Testing Services has been contracted for illegal testing. Under the new procedure, jobs will be given through Sukkur IBA test instead of IBA Karachi.

The court also suspended the notification regarding recruitment till the next hearing.

The petitioners include MNA Kishore Zehra, MPAs Syed Hashim Raza, Ghulam Gilani, Javed Hanif Khan and Wasimuddin Qureshi.
