One more accused arrested in Machhar Colony incident
KARACHI: After the brutal killing of two youths in Karachi, the police crackdown is ongoing. A search operation was conducted by Kiamari Police in Machhar Colony.
Only three accused have been arrested of 200 named accused while 15 have been identified from videos.
During the operation of the police, the residents of the area opened fire directly at the police.
The police retaliated and arrested one of the accused, Sharif alias Sharfu, in an injured condition
SSP Fida Janwari said that the police operation will continue till the arrest of the accused in the case of two youths
Two days ago, engineer Ayman Javed of Thatta and Ishaq Panhoor of Naushehro Feroze were brutally killed with stones after torturing them in Machhar Colony.
Demonstrations are being held in different cities against the murder of two youths in Karachi.
Protest demonstrations were held in Kandhkot, Mirpurmathelo, Faizganj, Thatto, Dore, Skarand, Thal, Qambar, Kashmore and Naushehro Feroze.
