A heavy contingent of police reached the spot. The administration held talks with the protesters and advised them to open the road and record their protest by staging demonstration on one side.

The sacked employees were carrying banners and chanting slogans for restoration of their jobs. They raised slogans, “We want justice”.

Employees of various departments including Intelligence Bureau, PSO, OGDCL joined the protest.

Around two weeks back the court ordered to sack the employees from different federal government departments who were restored through presidential order in PPP government in 2010.
