ISLAMABAD Aug 14,2021 – President Arif Alvi on occasion of Independence Day 14, August 2021 conferred on 126 civil awards on Pakistani citizens and foreign nationals for showing excellence and courage in their respective fields. From Sindh 20 persons were conferred the awards.
Prominent among them are senior singer Rubina Qureshi, writer Madad Ali Sindhi, poet Ayaz Gul, and Dr Faizullah Abbasi.
Maximum awards from Sindh are in acting category, in this category four people from Sindh were conferred awards.
