Punjab minister’s brother killed for revenge

LAHORE Aug 7,2021 – Punjab minister Malik Asad Khokhar’s brother was killed to take revenge. The accused has reportedly admitted in interrogation.

Malik Mubashir Khokhar was assassinated yesterday at the Valima of his nephew and son of Malik Asad Khokhar.

The incident took place last night in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at the funeral of Malik Asad Khokhar’s son.

According to an eyewitness, the Chief Minister was sitting in his car on his way back, when the incident took place, a few yards away from the Chief Minister’s car.

Sources said that two assailants were sitting to ambush the target at the gate, as soon as the three brothers, including the nominated provincial minister, came to drop off Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at the gate, the accused opened fire.

Punjab Chief Minister’s staff nabbed the accused Nazim who opened fire. Nazim, the accused has claimed that he killed Malik Mubashir to avenge the murder of his brother and uncle.

The accused have spent 8 years in jail for the murder of accused Mansha.

Funeral prayers were offered of Malik Mubashir Khokhar, the slain brother of Punjab Minister-designate Malik Asad Khokhar, after which he was laid to rest.
