PTI MNAs using official vehicles despite resignation

ISLAMABAD, April 22, 2022- Despite resignations by the PTI members around one dozen former chairmen of the ruling party are holding the posts of the standing committees.

With the resignations of PTI members, their chairmanship also expired but they are still availing the facilities as chairmen of the standing committees, which said illegal.
According to sources, four employees, vehicles and other facilities are provided to a head of standing committee of the National Assembly. The vehicles owned by the National Assembly are still in use by the PTI’s chairmen who had resigned.
The National Assembly Secretariat has decided to contact the Chairperson.
According to sources, vehicles and other necessary paraphernalia will be withdrawn from PTI’s resignation chairman and chairperson.
