Pakistan Muslim League-N – PML-N in a bid to lure Sindh nationalists has started working and has first first step by meeting Sindh Tarqi Passand Party chief Dr Qadir Magsi on Monday in Hyderabad.

Pakistan Muslim League-N – PML-N has announced to play active role in next general elections.

A delegation of PML-N led by party’s general secretary Ahsan Iqbal arrived at the residence of Sindh Tarqi Passand Party chief Dr Qadir Magsi in Hyderabad. The PML-N delegation and STP chief exchanged views on political issues of Sindh.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal said that the PML-N announced that in the next elections, the PML-N will play a full part in Sindh politics and raise voice on Sindh issues. He appealed to the people of Sindh to vote for the PML-N once and for all. Ahsan Iqbal said that we guarantee money back if it is not fun then never vote for PML. Dr Qadir Magsi smiled at such an interesting phrase of the PML-N leader.

STP chief Dr Qadir Magsi said that in order to restore democracy in the country we have already fought with PML-N and made arrests and now we can work with PML-N despite political and ideological differences.

Qadir Magsi attended the APC in London on the invitation of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

In May 2011 Nawaz Sharif lured the Sindhi nationalists.  He visited the Sindh Taraqi Pasand House, party head quarter of STP and after meeting with Dr Qadir Magsi addressed a press conference.

Nawaz Sharif called for accountability of all those who subverted the country’s laws and constitution with impunity and denied rights to the marginalized communities and autonomy to the provinces.

“Such men whether they are in positions of authority should be brought to book,” Sharif said.

Sharif said his party began to distribute land to poor peasants in Sindh and made access to justice easier during his two stints in the government.

On the same day the PML-N leader also called on Rasool Bux Palijo, president Awami Tehreek, at his residence earlier in the morning.

In 2012 Mumtaz Bhutto merged his Sindh National Front into PML-N.

Later in 2013 Dr Qadir Magsi’s party was part of 10-party alliance led by Pir Pagara, which was formed against the Pakistan Peoples Party.

Presently Sindh Tarqi Passand Party is part of Sindh Action Committee, where Jalal Mehmood Shah’s Sindh United party Jeay Sindh Mahaz of Khaliq Junejo and other groups are members. Sindh Action Committee has recently launched anti Bahria Town movement.

Jalal Mehmood Shah has recently met the Prime Minister in Karachi.

While Qaumi Awami Tehreek of Ayaz Latif Palijo is part of GDA, which is in ruling coalition with PTI.
