KARACHI: Sindh High Court heard the application against cancellation of admission of Jinnah Sindh Medical University students protesting in favor of online examination.

Registrar Jinnah Sindh Medical University appeared in the court and  told the court that the applicants violated the rules.

Justice Amjad Ali Sehto said, if they had not appeared in the exam, they would have failed. What did the students do that their admissions were cancelled, Justice Amjad Ali Sehto asked the Registrar of the University.

Registrar replied, they staged protest and defamed the university has defamed on social media.

The Registrar of the university submitted written reply in the Court.

The court directed the counsel for the petitioner to come to the next hearing after reviewing the reply of the registrar

The court adjourned further hearing of the petition till May 4.
