Pak Army helicopter goes missing in Lasbela

A Pakistan army aviation helicopter which was on flood relief operations in Lasbela, Balochistan lost contact with ATC ( air traffic control), says a DG ISPR tweet.

Six people including Commander 12 Corps were on board. Corps Commander Quetta,  Sarfraz Ali was supervising flood relief operations in Balochistan.

Pakistan Army aviation helicopter was en route from Uthal, Balochistan to Karachi with important personalities on board.

Search operation is underway, the tweet further said.

Media reported quoting the district administration that a helicopter crashed in the vicinity of the Sassui Punhu Shrine, located near Windar area, however, the ISPR is yet to confirm whether it was the same helicopter.
