Opposition’s claims about Sindh budget session are unsubstantiated, says Nasir Shah

KARACHI- Jul- 01-2021- Sindh information minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah rejected the allegations that the budget session of Sindh Assembly did not go well and said claims of the opposition remained unsubstantiated.

Addressing a press conference accompanying Sindh Education minister Saeed Ghani here on Thursday, Sindh information minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said when the session started, everyone saw the attitude of the opposition.

He said Speaker observed the parliamentary rules and practices properly.

However, he said the GDA’s response to the protest was appropriate and added that the GDA condemned bringing the bed to the House.

Nasir Shah said, the Speaker also adjourned the sitting for some time.

The claims of the opposition remained unsubstantiated. The opposition did not submit a single cut motion on the budget.

The minister said no MPA was stopped for entering the House. And added that the gate was closed to stop the drummers.

Information minister said that the federal government reduced Rs 80 billion from the share of Sindh.

Shah once again emphasized that “We are talking about Pakistan card.”
