Michael Owen to unveil GSV’S Pakistan’s first ever Soccer City

ISLAMABAD, Jan 23,2022 – England’s gem Michael Owen, as the official Ambassador of Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) jets into Pakistan. The crown jewel of Liverpool lands in Islamabad on 25 January 2022 to begin football transformation.

In a series of high profile engagements and events Michael will explain his vision to overhaul football in Pakistan as GSV.

Michael will meet the PM Imran Khan and his Special Assistant Usman Dar to outline GSV’s football transformation programme for Pakistan. He will attend a meet and greet session with the Army Chief and conclude his Islamabad visit at a high profile presidential reception hosted by Dr Arif Alvi at The President House.

In Karachi, on 26 January 2022, Michael Owen will attend a press conference at NED University to officially hold a ground breaking ceremony and release images to the world of Pakistan’s first ever Soccer City.

Michael Owen said, “I am really excited to be at the helm of Pakistan’s largest football transformation programme and delighted to be discharged with the responsibility to take football to a whole new level in Pakistan”.

NED University of Engineering & Technology (NED) and Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) in the first week of January, signed a 10-year agreement to establish Pakistan’s first soccer city stadium in Karachi.

Under the agreement, the German engineers will develop a series of football infrastructure projects in Karachi including the construction of a state-of-art football stadium.

The stadium will be equipped with all FIFA’s world-class facilities. The innovative stadium is designed by a German firm, read the press release issued by a company.
