Main accused of Puja Kumari murder case remanded to police

SUKKUR, March, 22,2022- The main accused Wahid Bakhsh Lashari of the Puja Kumari murder case, was handed over to the police on a 10-day physical remand by a civil court.

Police say the accused killed 18-year-old Puja Kumari as she offered resistance while trying to kidnap her.

Sukkur police said that the accused was the neighbor of victim.

Sukkur police said raids are being conducted to arrest the other two accused involved in the Puja Kumari murder case.

The deceased’s heirs are out of sorrow. They have appealed the government for justice.

The accused Bakhsh Lashari in Sukkur yesterday killed minority community girl Puja Kumari after she refused to marry with him.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated the police on the arrest of the accused in the killing of Puja Kumari Oad in Sukkur.

In his statement, the Chairman People’s Party condemned it and said that the brutal murder of Puja Kumari was traumatic.

Senator Krishna Kolhi visits Sukkur

PPP Senator Krishna Kolhi visited the residence of Puja Kumari’s parents and offered condolences.

Krishna Kolhi said that Puja Oad was to save herself from rape and added that the accused involved in the incident will be severely punished.

She was laid to rest in the Hindu cemetery in the Rohri near Sukkur after the last rituals.
