Jamshed Dasti’s brother shot dead

MULTAN Aug 8,2021 – Jamshed Dasti’s brother Mushtaq Dasti  was shot dead in Muzaffargarh district of Punjab on Sunday.

Police said that the shooting took place near a thermal bypass in Muzaffargarh, while a man was arrested for killing former MNA Jamshed Dasti’s brother.

Mushtaq Dasti’s body was shifted to the hospital and a case is being registered.

According to police, Mushtaq Dasti had gone to attend a panchayat over a land dispute where he was shot dead.

Former MNA Jamshed Dasti said about his brother’s murder that brother Mushtaq Dasti was called for reconciliation over the dispute of neighbours.

Talking to media at DHQ Hospital, Muzaffargarh, Jamshed Dasti said that when there was an altercation between the parties on the spot, the brother stood in the middle. One party opened fire, as a result of which Mushtaq was shot dead.

Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police has sought a report from RPO DG Khan on the murder and ordered immediate arrest of the accused and stern legal action.
