Islamabad, 28 Nov, 2023: In a surprising turn of events, Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has tendered his resignation from the post. The decision was confirmed by PTI Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat, who also disclosed that Imran Khan would not be partaking in the upcoming intra-party elections, citing legal restrictions.

The PTI Chairman’s decision to step down precedes the intra-party election, and Sher Afzal Marwat clarified that Imran Khan will be re-elected as the party chairman following a possible disqualification from the court.
