Former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court killed in firing incident
Former Chief Justice of the High Court of Balochistan, Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, was killed in a firing incident in Kharan area of Balochistan.
According to DIG Nazir Kurd, Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was fired upon during Isha prayer in the mosque.
Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was also the former Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court.
As chief justice of the Federal Shariat Court he authored the landmark judgement that declared the Riba-based banking system against the Sharia.
