ISLAMABAD, Aug 11.2022- The mobile phone of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill, arrested in the case of sedition, is being forensically examined.
Police sources have said that FIA has contacted the laboratory to match Shahbaz Gill’s voice.
Police sources said that the CDR of PTCL number of Bani Gala and private channel are being collected.
Police sources have also said that it is also being questioned that Shahbaz Gill gave a statement in the media on whose behest.
Arrest of Shehbaz Gill’s driver is lawful: Police
The spokesperson of Islamabad Police said that the raiding and arresting of Shahbaz Gill’s driver’s house was legal.
In the statement issued, the spokesperson of Islamabad Police said that the family members of Shahbaz Gill’s driver put up practical resistance in during performing official duty.
Sedition case against Shahbaz Gill, investigation team formed
The spokesperson further said that the Capital Police is collecting all the evidence related to this case, wherever legal action is required, the police will do its work.
The spokesperson of Islamabad Police has said that the scope of the case can be extended to other provinces besides Islamabad.
