Five children burnt to death as fire broke out in Shaanti Nagar slums
KARACHI, March 18,2022- Five children including four siblings were burnt to death when fire broke out in the slums of Katchi Abadi near Shaanti Nagar in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
Children killed and injured in the age group of 4 to 12 years.
The tragic incident has left 5 children dead, including four siblings. The victim was taken to the hospital this morning for treatment.
According to police, the dead and injured are in the age group of 4 to 12 years. The dead include two brothers and two sisters.
The families of the victims are from Rahim Yar Khan and dead bodies will be sent to Rahim Yar Khan.
Five huts were also completely gutted due to the fire. The children were in the hut at the time of the fire while their parents went to work.
Two fire tenders were extinguished by the fire.
Police claimed that the short circuit caused the blaze.
