Fazlur Rehman meets Mufti Usmani and MQM chief Afaq Ahmad

KARACHI Aug 11,2021 – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief, PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani and Mohajir Qaumi Movement chief Afaq Ahmad Khan on Tuesday.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Waqf Property Act and Domestic Violence Bill are against the religion of Islam, Constitution of Pakistan and Eastern values.

He expressed these views while meeting Shaykh-ul-Islam Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani at Darul Uloom Karachi Korangi. Lunch was hosted by Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani in honor of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. On this occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a detailed consultation with Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani regarding Waqf Property and Domestic Violence Bills.

Secretary General of UI Sindh Allama Rashid Soomro, Central Spokesperson Aslam Ghauri, Qari Muhammad Usman, Maulana Ghias, Samiul Haq Swati, Aminullah and Sharafuddin Andhar were also present on the occasion.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that vicious efforts were on to make the Pakistan a secular state and the present government wanted to fulfill this agenda on the Western initiative.

Head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam PDM Maulana Fazlur Rehman also had a meeting with the Chairman Mohajir Qaumi Movement Afaq Ahmed at the residence of Afaq Ahmed.
