MOSCOW Sep 20,2021 – Eight people have been killed and several others injured in a shooting at a university in the Russian city of Perm.
The assailant walked on to the campus of a university in the Urals city of Perm on Monday morning and started shooting.
Students and teachers barricaded themselves inside the university building; others were seen jumping from windows, BBC reported.
According to foreign media reports, the students jumped out of the classroom windows due to the firing.
According to the Russian news agency, the accused who opened fire at the university has also been killed.
Russia’s official Investigations Committee said the attacker was a student at the university.
The death toll from the shooting is expected to rise.
