ECP asks voters to check, confirm details in electoral lists

HYDERABAD, Oct 10,2022- The Election Commission of Pakistan has released the final electoral lists on October 7 in preparation for the 2023 general elections. People have been requested to verify their vote by SMSing their identity card to 8300.

The Regional Election Commissioner Hyderabad has advised the people to change their vote or their family member’s vote or to enter a new name visit to the concerned District Election Commissioner Hyderabad or the center established in the taluka for Form 21 or for the correction of the data or transfer of vote submit Form 23.

He further said that any unrelated voter or deceased person who has to submit form 22 for deleting the name, keeping in mind the convenience of the people, centers have also been opened to receive form 21.

According to the Regional Election Commissioner, the information about the Centers for submission of forms in the offices of the District Election Commissioners established in the country can also be seen on the official website of the commission. This information is also available on the ECP app, which can be installed on the mobile phone.

It should be noted that entering, canceling or correcting votes can be done before the general election.
