Rape of three girls in Karachi: Case registered
KHAIRPUR: DNA samples of two Mansoor Shar and Saleem Shar has been matched in Monika Larik rape and murder case, police said.
Both accused were arrested on pointation of Abdullah the main accused in the murder case.
Monica Larik was abducted on December 9 near village Hadil Shah and she was raped and then murdered.
The body was dumped in a banana field, which was found on December 11.
The police recovered the body and shifted it to the Pir Jo Goth hospital, where a lady doctor confirmed that the seven-year-old minor Monika Larik was raped before she was strangled. A case was registered on the complaint of the girl’s father against three unidentified persons.
DNA samples of over 100 people were collected by the police during the interrogation.
“Both Abdullah Larik and Monika used to work as a domestic helper in the haveli owing to her poor family background, police said.
