Cut in oil production: US President warns Saudi Arabia

US President Joe Biden has warned Saudi Arabia that Riyadh will suffer the consequences if OPEC cuts oil production.

In an interview with American TV, Joe Biden said that he will not say what action he has in mind, but it is certain that it will have results.

According to reports, the 13-member Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its 10 allies have announced a 2 million barrel per day oil production cut last week.

According to foreign media, with this move at the beginning of winter, the prices of petroleum products are expected to rise sharply.

In his interview, President Biden discussed various issues and claimed that he will easily defeat former President Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential elections.

Regarding the meeting with Russian President Putin on the sidelines of the G20 summit, President Biden avoided closing the door to negotiations and said that he has no intention of meeting with President Putin.

He said that if President Putin initiates a meeting and says he wants to discuss the release of basketball star Brittney Griner, they will meet, so the meeting will depend on President Putin’s attitude.
