KARACHI: War of words between PPP and PMLN continues. PMLN leader and prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said how those who were not even fourth in NA-249 won? It is not Bilawal Sahib’s place to talk about it, Bilawal Bhutto should speak according to his height.
Addressing a press conference with at the Muslim League Karsaz House in Karachi, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there are so many irregularities in the NA-249 by-election that there is no option but to re-count.
Elaborating his point, he said Watsapp results of 34 polling stations did not come to the returning officers.
He said that more than 100 Form 45 have not been signed, if the voting rate is less than 5% and there are other doubts then there is a law of recount. The election of one constituency is being watched properly by the entire Election Commission, the election was not kept transparent.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has accepted the request of PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail for a recount of votes for a hearing.
According to a notification by the ECP, the hearing will be held on May 4, and notices have been sent to all respondents.
In the meanwhile, the ECP has issued an order, withholding results of the by-poll.
