Azam Swati's bail plea hearing postponed
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Azam Swati was also arrested by Balochistan Police.
Sources have confirmed the arrest of Azam Swati and said that Balochistan Police has arrested Azam Swati and taken him to Quetta.
Sources say that Azam Swati has been arrested by the Balochistan Police on the basis of cases registered in different areas of the province.
Yesterday, Judicial Magistrate Islamabad ordered Senator Azam Swati to be sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.
FIA had filed a request for judicial remand of Azam Swati in the court yesterday before the 4-day remand was over.
Azam Swati’s 4-day physical remand was scheduled to end on Saturday, December 3.
FIA had requested that we have completed the investigation, there is no need for further investigation into Azam Swati.
On the other hand, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Dr. Yasmin Rashid submitted a petition against the arrest of Azam Swati in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
