All applicants will be provided with an opportunity to perform Hajj, Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Apr 6,2023 – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that all the applicants will be provided an opportunity to perform Hajj.

During a press conference with Minister of Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor on Thursday, Ishaq Dar said that 37,000 more applications than the quota have been received.

The Finance Minister said that this year Hajj quota under regular scheme was 44190, while 72869 applications for Hajj have been collected.

Ishaq Dar said that all 72869 pilgrims will be sent for Hajj without drawing lots. Additional resources and foreign exchange will be required.
