7 injured in explosion at Football ground Hub

KARACHI: At least 7 persons were injured in an explosion on Tuesday evening in Hub Town, Balochistan, around 46 km away from Karachi.

A football match was underway when the explosion occurred, according to the police.
The injured persons included two players as well.

They were shifted to the Government Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital Hub.
At least two critically wounded persons were referred to Karachi hospitals.

Police and security forces reached the place of incident and placed security cordons around it.
According to police officials, the explosives were hidden in a spectator seating area, which was detonated by remote control device.
