Woman set ablaze for not paying extortion money

LAHORE, 08,2021 – The condition of a working woman who was set ablaze for not paying extortion in Mangal Bazaar of Sargodha is critical in the hospital.

The woman said in her statement to the police that the accused had sprayed petrol on her and set her on fire.

 The woman said that the accused used to threaten her and say that they would make fun of her.

The victim woman also said that influential people forcibly take money to allow setting up stalls in the market on Tuesday.

Main accused of gang rape on motorway arrested

According to police, two accused have been arrested for spraying petrol on a female shopkeeper and setting her on fire. Raids are being carried out to arrest three more.

The body of 45-year-old Noorin Bibi has been burnt more than 65%. The woman has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital Lahore in critical condition.
