Why PMA wrote letter to WHO?
KARACHI (May 23, 2021) The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has called on the World Health Organization (WHO) to play its role in approving different brands of vaccines from different countries.
The PMA wrote a letter to the World Health Organization (WHO) and has asked the WHO to play a role in vaccinating outgoing citizens.
The letter said that some countries have approved specific brands for the corona vaccine.
The PMA said that while people around the world are not using the same brand for the corona vaccine, the approval of a particular brand will have a negative impact on travel and trade.
Pakistan’s top doctors’ body, PMA has said it will persuade the WHO and other countries to accept all vaccines.
