The absence of former President Asif Ali Zardari, an important figure in Pakistani politics, is being felt strongly in the media. Though his media cell keeps trying to give a sense of his presence by releasing statements attributed to him on important occasions.
Asif Ali Zardari, who is said to be main character to bring Shehbaz Sharif as Prime Minister, and had also announced his son Hamza Shehbaz as the Chief Minister of Punjab and in the PDM meeting in Lahore gave him a pat of success.
To achieve this objective the former president had frequent meetings with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain of PMLQ at his residence, the refusal of Parvez Elahi and Munis Elahi to meet with him, were being considered very important. Though Hamza Shehbaz became Chief Minister Punjab, but for few days as the apex court turned down the rulling of Deuty Speaker Dost Mazari. Instead, Parvez Elahi became the Chief Minister.
The government and its allied parties filed a petition in the Supreme Court demand to form a full court to hear the Punjab Assembly deputy speaker ruling case. For this purpose the leaders of all the parties went to the Supreme Court. But suddenly after a few hours, Asif Zardari left for Dubai.

However, his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto, who lives in Dubai, said in her tweet that Zardari has come to Dubai to celebrate his 67th birthday with his nine-month-old grandson.
It has been almost two weeks since the former president disappeared from the media and during this time his official presence and that too consists of harmless statements while the opposition as well as some government circles are ignorant and unaware of high-level matters. They are waiting for Asif Ali Zardari to come on the scene because they believe that he will come on the scene only after ensuring the completion of a mission.
