KARACHI, May 8,2022- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has declared water emergency to solve drinking water problem in Right Bank areas of Indus River.
Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of shortage of drinking water in tail end areas of the province.
Chief Minister has declared emergency to solve drinking water problem in Right Bank areas of Indus River.
Chief Minister directed the Irrigation Department to take necessary steps to supply drinking water in the tail-end areas.
Areas with severe water shortage include Thatta, Sujawal, Badin and other districts.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that irrigation department should take immediate steps to release water in canal system of Right Bank areas.
People should get drinking water in any case, he added and said that to report him by tomorrow evening.
